In addition to the beach, one of the city's most popular attractions is the Texas State Aquarium. It looks a lot like a fast-moving, black, chittering river. The Texas State Aquarium has massive indoor and outdoor tanks that feature a huge variety of species, including, sharks, tarpon and stingrays. It showcases exhibitions, films, symposiums, community events, field trips, and entertaining, family-centered programming that convey the richness of hundreds of objects, the museums culture, and pioneering ideas to visitors of all ages.
